Desert Retreat with Cowboy Pool Joshua Tree

We had a great time. The home was so accommodating. The yard is l Lovely and wimsical. We were able to use the spa. We bbqd steak it was so fun. We did move a lamp into the front bedroom because there wasn't one.

Overall a very comfortable home.
Secluded and peaceful, but close enough to all the “must haves”. Enjoyed the hot tub and star gazing in the evening. Excellent amenities and well cared for property.
The automated pre check in requirements did spam me over and over, even after I had completed the check list and been given my entry code (which didn’t work). A quick message to the host resolved that issue within 60 seconds. We will stay again.

Had the best stay in Joshua tree. The house was pristine and had all amenities for a stay to enjoy the town and the park. The location was the best I have nailed in JT as you are very close the the park ‘s entrance. Quiet , and feeling of being in the desert with all the amenities of being in JT that you need, fireplace, grill, pool, hot tub, new everything and up to date. Didn’t want to leave!!!

We had a great time in Joshua Tree - the location of the propriety was nice and chill + the backyard of the house was big and private. We had a couple of issues with the house but the team always replied to messages and tried to resolve issues.

This is a great deal and a very comfortable home that has everything you need. It has plenty of space for a family with kids or a dog and all the things you would need in a home right there. It has parking and a pool and a nice lawn. The hosts are very responsive and proactive as well.

It was a great house to stay in. We traveled as a family of four and had plenty of room for everyone.
Beautiful and peaceful backyard with jacuzzi that came in very handy after long hikes in the park. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Heat light in the bathroom was a great addition.
Very close to Joshua tree national park entrance and short drive to stores and restaurants. Playground nearby was great to walk to with a kid.
We stayed for a week and would certainly stay for another one if our vacation didn’t come to an end. There is so much more to explore in the area. The coolest thing is that there are some trails starting 5min walk away from home!
The host was very responsive and proactive checking on us a couple times during our not so long stay. We would stay again.

Joshua Tree Vista was a beautiful, clean and large retreat for my small family and dog to enjoy for the weekend. I wish we could have enjoyed the amazing backyard more, but because it was so windy we mostly stayed inside. Traveling for the first time with our newborn made things slightly hectic, but our host Joshua was readily available by chat morning and night and promptly answered any questions we had to ensure we were comfortable. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. I’d love to stay there again in the future!

This house is in a great location, about 10 minutes to Joshua Tree NP entrance. Open layout and really nicely decorated. Loved the record player! It had everything we needed for our convenience (kitchen) and comfort (coffee, robes). The backyard had several seating options, I really enjoyed sitting out there in the morning. The hot tub was great after hiking all day. Before we arrived there were very high winds so the hot tub had quite a bit of sand in it (cover had blown off) and management took care of it right away. There is even a hiking path just up the road. This house is also close to the Black Rock camping area which also has hiking paths. 10/10 recommend! The living room couch wasn’t very comfortable, probably because it’s a pull-out sleeper couch, which we didn’t use.

Lovely home! Good communication from host, super easy check in/out which was nice. We really enjoyed the location, floor plan, and yard. Hot tub was large, hot, and easy to use. My family and I would return to use this property again. There was a park within a six-min walk for kiddos and there is a trail you could walk or quickly drive (2m) that was great for kids! From locals we bumped into supposedly there is lots of wildlife on the trail just not in the time of year we were there. Only drawback for us was that we misunderstood the picture caption for the trailer in the backyard - you can't use this during your stay, so its just there for looks. Kids got over it quickly though with other fun to be had. Maybe in the future :)

This home is incredibly well organized, beautifully curated, comfortable, and has everything you could possibly need. I ?enjoyed my stay over the weekend, and truly felt at home. I would like to particularly call out how extremely well designed the property is. I felt like I was in a magazine spread for Better Homes and Gardens; someone has done an incredible job with the interior decorating of this home. Thank you for hosting my self-care vacation.

This Airbnb is clean, with updated bathrooms and kitchen. The back yard is wonderful, as others have said - large, and with lots of different areas in which to sit, swim, and soak. I wish that the indoor furniture had been a bit more in keeping with the rest of the house, as it felt a bit old and outdated. Joshua took awhile to respond to a request for an accurate wifi code, as the code listed in check-in documents was wrong, and, after I finally prompted a response by texting twice and calling once, offered no apology or explanation for the incorrect listing. Overall, the experience was good, but I wish in particular that the host had a been a bit more responsive and friendly.

Stayed here for 3 nights. It was a very peaceful and enjoyed couple of days with our doggos. Everything in the house was as described. Joshua was super quick to respond to any questions we had. Loved the set up of the house and the unique elements in the backyard. So many places to sit and enjoy great views.
You do have a house to the right and left of you but it’s still felt super private, which is exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The house is spacious inside and out. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The host added special touches you would get from a luxury hotel, such as providing bath robes, beautifully arranged towels, quality amenities, and a three-ring notebook with information about local restaurants and the national park. The back yard has a quaint gathering area where you can sit your morning coffee and enjoy the view. The jacuzzi was pristine and inviting, and the pool area was arranged perfectly for another gathering area. I love the stay, it felt like home. I loved it all.

A wonderful home in a wonderful location! We traveled with a 15-month-old baby and a 15-year-old dog, and this house was perfect for our family. It came equipped with dog bowls, dog bed, poop bags for the pup, and pack-n-play, high chair, and kid cutlery. It was a relief to have those at the house and not have to pack them on our flight.
The location can't be beat. It's a 5 minute drive to everything in Joshua Tree, and a 10 minute walk to a beautiful hiking trail (Nancy Koren Loop -- do it!) and playground. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.
House comes equipped with most of the usual kitchen stuff, but heads up that there was no coffee grinder. We also found board games, a fun puzzle, and the hot tub was wonderful every night.
The backyard needs its own paragraph. It is so spacious, beautiful, private, with several unique spaces. We enjoyed every different area of it and I loved how fresh it made each day feel. Birds and bunnies.

We stayed here for a week and loved it. Has a very private feeling inside and in the back yard. Set up very nice. Everything looked new and fresh and very clean. Hot tub was wonderful. Plenty of off street parking. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and friendly feeling. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Loved our family visit to Joshua Tree, and this place made it so comfortable and easy. We all loved the hot tub, and there is a great desert hike that starts just a few blocks away. Amenities were awesome. Easy to get to the park, restaurants, etc. Would 10/10 stay here again!

Joshua’s place was perfect for a holiday getaway with my partner and close family friends. The yard was perfect for my pup and the location was great with a lot of hiking trails nearby. He was super responsive and the kitchen had everything we needed.

This cozy property is a delightful escape with a beautiful view, fully equipped kitchen for any level chef, (lots of counter space) and a quirky, ample sized backyard with a collection of pieces that could be a movie set. (wagon wheel, outdoor lounge, footbridge, tiny vintage trailer, etc.) So fun! Close to town via paved roads. Top quality shower heads, linens and toiletries. Great value for the price. I’m definitely staying here again.

Joshua’s home is beautiful and cozy. Everything you need is there to be found. They’re very responsive and helpful. Home is really quiet although not secluded, it was safe and easy to find. The pull out couch fits 2 people, truly convenient.

This place is so CUTE and cozy. I originally chose this place for the backyard layout and the price. The inside of the house is a bonus. It is simple but decorated very nicely. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are so nice! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone (especially if you have children since they have a pack and play, high chair, horseshoe, and a cowboy pool). If this is available during your desired dates, BOOK IT! :)

Stayed for 3 nights and it was wonderful! The place was just as described, and beautiful to see the stars at night. Got to experience great sunsets, with a bbq and a fire, and the place was clean as well. I was celebrating my boyfriend's bday, and asked for some balloons and decorations, and Joshua and team made it happen. So thank you for that! Looking forward to coming back again.

This home is lovely and has everything to make your stay comfortable and fun. The backyard is eclectic in design, it includes a cowboy swimming pool and hot tub. The is a nice size area for horseshoes. There is plenty of outdoor furniture for your guests to enjoy while you grill their stakes on the gas grill. The bedrooms are spacious, and the mattress in the master bedroom was really comfortable. Both bathrooms are nice sized and include excellent quality linens. The main areas in the home are open and airy; to add to the overall beauty of the home the large front window has the most incredible view of the mountains. In fact, the entire home is surrounded by things to look at in every direction. I do recommend this property and certainly would stay here again.

We had a great time! The yard was very private with no views of neighbors even the house is located in a neighborhood. Easy access to a beautiful hiking trail walking distance from the house. Yard was well equipped with cowboy tub, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor dining options. House was great with renovated kitchen and good AC and water pressure. Beds were very comfortable. Communication was great and check in / check out were easy. Definitely recommend!

An oasis in the desert! My bf and I had a great stay at Joshua’s lovely house. It’s extremely well located for exploring Joshua Tree National Park and the surrounding areas, exactly as “advertised,” comfortable and very well stocked. This spot was perfect for a little getaway with our dog. All the amenities you need - cowboy pool for the hot days, hot tub for star gazing at night, and a fully fenced in area for dog to explore.
Loved the outdoor patio area where we enjoyed our meals in the shade. The kitchen was well equipped and found access to thoughtful add-ons like extra fans and a yoga mat.

This home is absolutely amazing! We have stayed at over 20+ airbnbs and this is in our top 5! The home is beautifully designed. Open layout kitchen and dining room and outdoor patio, including cowboy tub, lawn chairs, fire pit, and hot tub. Views are gorgeous from the windows. Perfect sunsets everyday! The home comes with kid friendly items like a pack and play and pup items for pets like a dog mat and bowls. The kitchen is pristine! Had all the items we needed to cook. We only went out into town 3x for meals in the 4-days we were there. Both bedrooms had comfy beds and space. Note the host also offers a yoga mat and yoga blocks I used during our time. Nice touches include beautiful bathrooms and really unique designs with tiles. We were impressed. We walked our dog in the neighborhood and she enjoyed it and loved the backyard. We hope to be back! Joshua and his team were great and we loved this home. Five stars!! ??

My wife and I (and dog) stayed here for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. It's really the perfect location for exploring the national park and making quick trips into town. The home is also in really great shape, with beautiful new appliances, tvs, and fixtures. The backyard is nice and private and with lots of fun places to chill (great for relaxing or stargazing). In addition, the hosts thought of everything (extra dog bowls, outdoor towels, comfortable beds, etc.) and were super easy to work with and responsive. Certainly exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and tranquility. We even extended our stay an extra night. Definitely recommend to anyone that's looking for a comfortable home in a peaceful neighborhood close to the park.

We have been back twice to this place because there is no better place in Joshua Tree for us, our daughter and our dog. First off there is a giant backyard completely enclosed for the dog (which isn't easy to find in Joshua Tree) & the favorite part of this rental for our daughter (she loves exploring the different levels). The hot tub is always hot & the cool pool is always cold--perfect for hot days and cool nights. The interior is so well done and easy. We love the open floor plan, beautiful kitchen & Roku for all our streaming needs. We stayed mainly in the master, but the second bedroom is lovely, too. There are huge windows with amazing views in every room. The garage fits two cars nicely, and it is so helpful to have a washer dryer in the unit. We run and ride bikes (both road and mountain), and this property is located in a place where you can run out/bike out & not have to drive anywhere for beautiful scenic hikes/bikes. We will be back!

We had a great time here. The house is nicely decorated with lots and amenities (horseshoe throwing was a hit with our daughter). The location is great - all the convenience of town (supermarkets 7 minutes away) with a secluded feel. Private backyard with Joshua trees, cactus garden on the block next door, and a view of the rocky ridge. We would definitely return. The owners were kind enough to arrange to return an item we left at the house.

what a beautiful house with a wonderful setup - had all the amenities, awesome tools in the kitchen, towels and blankets to keep cozy. when its extra windy there's some noise that comes in through the fireplace flue, but no biggie on that one. backyard had a lot of options for seating, which it had been less windy for us to enjoy, but maybe our next visit!
