This private villa is part of the prestigious Movie Colony neighborhood where the glamorous Hollywood stars come to play. The property has a prime location two blocks from the Uptown Design District, and less than a 5-minute walk to Downtown's best retail shops, bars, and restaurants.

Even though Movie Colony is close to the downtown area, the property remains extremely private, shielded by the wall and landscaping in the backyard. One thing to be aware of is that, on occasion, you may be able to hear vehicles passing by on the street behind the house or a medical helicopter due to being close to the hospital.

The historic Movie Colony is named after the many famous movie stars who owned homes in the area from the 1930's to 1960's, including Marilyn Monroe, Cary Grant, Dinah Shore, Frank Sinatra, and Al Jolson.

The estate is also only a 7-minute walk to the famous 22-acre Ruth Hardy Park, where you will find 8 tennis courts, 2 children's play areas, basketball court, 2 volleyball courts, numerous picnic tables with BBQs, and large open fields. The adjacent Wellness Park is a 5-acre wellness oasis that offers a quarter-mile walking/jogging loop, five outdoor fitness stations, and four gardens: meditation, healing, fragrance and a memorial garden. There are also popular public hiking trails just a short walk or bike ride away that offer spectacular views overlooking the city, the airport, and valley.

Transit Transit
You can walk from the house to most in-town restaurants and bars. Many of the best restaurants of Palm Springs are within ~5 minutes walk from the house: Copley's, Eight4Nine, Workshop Kitchen, El Mirasol, Trio, Jake's, Birba, Cheeky's, Blue Coyote, and Tac/Quila.

There is parking space inside the gated property for at least 4 cars.

The Palm Springs International Airport is approximately 3 miles away and Interstate 10 (that connects you to Joshua Tree National Park or all the way to Los Angeles and Las Vegas) is also only a few miles away. The Convention Center, and the casino are quite close as well.

**Please note that OUTDOOR MUSIC IS PROHIBITED PER PALM SPRINGS ORDINANCE. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People's noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. ANY FINES RELATED TO CITY ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS WILL BE PAID BY THE GUEST.

** SECURITY HOLD IS $750 AND WILL BE PROCESSED 5 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AND RETURNED ON CHECKOUT DAY POST INSPECTION FOR DAMAGES (Does not apply to Airbnb reservations)**

* The person renting our house MUST be 25 years old per the City of Palm Springs.

* There is an optional fee to heat the pool. The request to heat the pool should be done at least 48 hours prior to your arrival. Cost $99/night.

* The City of Palm Springs requires an additional written contract which you will be sent before your arrival. The city also requires that renters supply a copy of their government issued ID and license plate numbers of personally owned vehicles.

As well as sanitized soft surfaces and upholstery.

Re-washed Dinnerware

Housekeepers re-wash all dinnerware, including dinner plates, glasses, coffee cups and silverware, between arrivals.

We have very high standards for our property and expect it to be spotlessly clean and ready for your arrival. If you find anything to be not up to scratch or if there are any items missing, please inform us as soon as possible.
