Relaxing Mountain Retreat in Big Bear

My fifth time over the years to stay. I prefer no surprises. We enjoy staying here for many reasons. There are no traffic jams like you encounter around the ski resorts. The neighbors are sweet and there are wonderful churches right there in the area

This is the second time that we’ve stayed at this house. It is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Lots of privacy in the backyard. It’s also a beautiful neighborhood to walk or take a bike ride around. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a beautiful, quiet, spacious home. It was immaculately clean and well supplied. I couldn't believe how fast the host responded to my first text. Very friendly and accommodating. I chose this home over others for the fenced backyard since we were traveling with two dogs. It was very secure, well manicured, and spacious which provided a very safe environment for them; however, we still never left them alone. (We don't at home either - too much danger from wildlife near our home.) They have a large hot tub, a grill, and fire pit on the back deck. I cannot comment further on these items since we never used them. The indoor seating and beds were very comfortable. Entering and exiting the property was simple. Check-in and out was also a breeze. I would highly recommend this home and host. Thanks again for accepting us as your guests.

We had a great time at this place. It seems to be professionally managed and property is very clean. Description is accurate and host is communicative. Kitchen and living room area is great for the evening hang and furnitures were comfy. All in all great place and reasonable pricing for what you get, but felt $150/dog is pretty steep of an addition compared to other places.

I wish all Airbnb’s were like this place! Three of us shared the house for a week of skiing and relaxing in Big Bear. We loved the kitchen and fireplace, hot tub was a lovely added bonus!
Very comfortable space and nice and clean!

Place was great, stayed w/ two kids so appreciated everything being on one floor. The heating was a bit off, the rooms would get really hot unexpectedly while the common areas stayed cool. Was just something we had to monitor really closely w/ the little ones sleeping in the rooms. Hot tub also needed a good clean, weren’t able to use it unfortunately.

The team was super responsive and very helpful regarding any questions I had, taking less than 30 mins to respond which is super appreciated! The house itself was amazing both inside and out, and though the backyard area was a little small the deck was huge and spacious. The interior was very cabin-like and felt like what you’d expect from staying in Big Bear. Its an amazing stay in an amazing area!

I really loved the cleanliness of this place. Even though they allow pets, I didn't have a hard time with my allergies or asthma. Everything was represented well in their photos. I do wish they had a bigger comfy couch (to bring back the family), but honestly that is just a very small desire for someone who loves a big couch with recliners. I did love that the main couch was leather so it didn't hold dog hair or dust mites. the spa was extremely clean and ready to go. This is truly a lovely home. It took us about 13 minutes to drive to the village, but it was a beautiful peaceful drive each time.

We were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and location of this place. We felt right at home and our dog was absolutely in love with the backyard. From the hot tub, to ping pong, to cornhole we really enjoyed our time. The kitchen had everything possible! Definitely would stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay. Love the home very cozy felt like home. Kitchen had all the utensil’s needed. Backyard and deck was very relaxing not to mention the hot tub. I also want to say the linen’s were very soft but the bed (mattress) was heavenly. Looking forward to buying the name brand mattress for my home it was that comfy. Look forward to visiting Big Bear in the future. Great hosts, especially Andrei he answered any questions I had in a timely manner. Thank you to all the hosts you are a great group.

This beautiful home was the perfect getaway in Big Bear. Everything looked exactly like the photos and it was so cozy and comfortable and clean. It is well situated in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood surrounded by gorgeous trees in the heart of the mountains. The house and the neighborhood are both prestine and peaceful and easy to find. It was a very short drive to Big Bear Village and the local shops and restaurants and parks and Big Bear Lake.
It was awesome relaxing in the big hot tub and then resting in front of the fireplace. The house was so spacious and could easily fit a large family or group. It has everything you need to feel at home. The master bedroom was so comfortable to sleep in! We brought our dog and she was so happy playing in the front yard. Honestly, we didn't want to leave and we hope to stay there again in the near future. We love this place! We fully recommend this house to anyone who wants an amazing place to call home when visiting Big Bear!!!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The airbnb was very clean and tidy. The place is spacious, peaceful, allowing us to unwind and relax in comfort, while still being close to town. The bed's were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
The well-equipped kitchen stood out during our stay. It felt like a home away from home, as we effortlessly prepared meals with the comprehensive selection of cookware provided. Thoughtful provisions of soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, and paper towels added convenience and comfort to our stay.
The beautifully maintained backyard offered entertaining activities like corn hole and table tennis. Evenings were spent around the outdoor fire pit, and the clean hot tub provided perfect relaxation. The added bonus of free firewood enhanced our overall experience.

This places has everything that you can think of! Seriously, the appliances in the kitchen we too notch. Loved how all the rooms had TVs, including the patio! The host was extremely responsive. The location is quiet and about 10-15 mins to downtown.

Great stay! Enjoyed the place a lot. Smaller backyard than expected but my dog still enjoyed the place. The remote for the tv on the deck didnt work. The host did order a new one but when we tried it it still wasnt working but other than that we had no issues and the house was beautiful. Used the fireplace a lot.

Savvy Travels made our weekend enjoyable from start to finish. We had a great stay at this property. Check in was super easy (I appreciate that I didn't have to check in at a separate location first (like I have had to do with other properties in town). Was a quick drive to the village. Communication with property owner was quick and helpful. Super clean house with nice open floorplan for cozy fireplace time with the family. Loved that the hot tub was private with the enclosed patio. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook several meals. There were plenty of extra towels which is always nice. Owner had reasonable check out requests (not overly strict). Pet friendly! - I was even delighted to see a dog door, which meant that my 14-year-old lab had easy access as well.
Great house, we would love to stay here again.

Lovely place to stay. Close enough to the town to make everything easy.
Would love to try this place during the summer months too. Wonderful backyard to enjoy.
The only think I will say…a better couch would be nice. Looks good, but very low and comes apart easily.
It’s in two pieces for some reason and we we’re constantly pushing back together. But no biggie!

Great place - very clean, great furnishings, all wifi and electronics worked well. Hot tub was clean. Nice quiet neighborhood, easy to get to with some remoteness but close to grocery etc... Hands down one of the coziest, CLEAN, omg so clean, amazing places to stay in Big Bear.
The hosts are SOOOO attentive, and they have this thing down to a science! we came in the evening, so it was already supremely cold, we walked into a cozy, warm, lit up home that just SCREAMED, and you arrived at your meditation, relaxation station.
Completely upgraded home, LOADED with fun for kids and fur babies of all ages.
I am actually diagnosed ocpd and a healthcare admin of 23 years. Spotless like an operating room.
Im blown away at how much love and effort has been put into every possible comfort away from home.
AND its located in a STUNNING neighborhood, on a culdesac with complete and absolute peace.
Team Savvy, wow. Bravo for all of your efforts. Just amazing. We are forever grateful and we would absolutely, unequivocally love to stay there again.

Visited for our sons 11th birthday, which was also our first time in the snow! The home was just the Cherry on top!! It snowed the whole time, which was fine, but we stayed at the house most of the trip. We we’re safely accommodated, comfortable and much to do. Lots of space to hang out, and play games. I was able to make a nice dinner. Light the beautiful fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans. The bedding was clean, cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was awesome and clean. We just had the most amazing time! They were quick and responsive for any questions that we had. I’ll definitely look to visit again when we come back!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the property for our family vacation. Upon arrival, the house was presented very very well, attention to detail was evident by the owners. Clean and well stocked with quality in every category. After skiing each day, we enjoyed relaxing at the fireplace and hot tub alike. Cozy place to stay. The host communicated well and was friendly. Everything was very nice in the home. Only thing I would say is bring your own firewood if your heart is set on sitting by the fireplace. I asked before the trip if i needed to bring firewood, as i have my own at home. But when i arrived there was maybe 5 pieces of wood. The host offered to pay for the delivery fee of the firewood but i would still be paying for the wood itself. Which was a little frustrating. But everything else about the home was great and comfortable. We will def be back.

This Airbnb had everything we needed it. It was my first time cooking a thanksgiving diner outside of home and the place was perfectly equipped. I liked how clean and spotless this place was since the moment we walked in. Very comfy and warm! Our doggies also had a great time. I would recommend 100 %

Our family had such a great time at this cabin. We've stayed at a number of Big Bear Airbnb cabins and this was by far our best experience. Not only was it the cleanest cabin we've stayed in (which can be hard to come by in Big Bear) but the communication before and throughout our stay was great. Even on Thanksgiving Day when we lost wifi access to watch the parade and football games. We got an immediate resolution!
The kitchen was fully stocked, which was helpful because I prepared a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The beds were VERY comfortable with nice linens. And the spa was clean... which can also be rare in Big Bear to find a spa that isn't a petri dish.
Kid friendly yard and on a quiet cul de sac. Also we loved it was dog friendly!
We have no complaints! We hope to be back!

Adorable little cottage! Loved the coffee and coffee supplies especially the milk frother. The linens were high quality and the down comforter was so cozy. Most importantly this property was spotlessly clean! We didn’t get to enjoy the backyard due to snow, but want to come back in the spring.

Beautiful Place with top quality beds, dishes, cookware, televisions, appliances and more. Jacuzzi is a great way to relax and grounds are private. Very cute quiet well kept street.
It’s a winner in the pictures but even better in person!

The stay was great and had everything we needed. We especially loved all the free coffee and the unlimited supply of cooking supplies! They have every single thing you could possibly need to make any meal you want. Nothing beat sitting in the jacuzzi out back with a drink watching Netflix on the tv by the jacuzzi. This house deserves 10 stars! The home is beautiful and is the cleanest house I’ve stayed In through AirBnB! This home smelled clean the moment you opened the door! The backyard has games and a hot tube and a wood swing that we loved hanging out on in the morning while drinking coffee. The ping pong table was a great bonus. There’s a tv in each room and on the deck outside and the house has a great layout. Communication was great and they truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and give you a great stay. We loved making our Big Bear 2022 memories in this home, can’t wait to come back for summer! Thank you all again!

Gem in the Big Bear.
One of the best Airbnb places I have stayed at. High quality bedding linens is a huge plus, I can make good coffee with the great freshly grind coffee beans supplied. Fast Wi-Fi, lots of games to play in the backyard.
Would definitely stay with Savvy Travel again

PERFECT. We drove up from San Diego for a few days to get out of the city. This cabin was spacious, clean, and offered so much that we really didn’t have to leave. The backyard had seating and a ping pong table, which could easily be used as an outdoor dining table. The hot tub was also clean and perfect at night when it got cool. Highly recommend this cabin.

I loved the little wooded reserve right by the house with plenty of intertwining paths. Great for a mellow Am/Pm stroll among the trees. Everything was as expected and wonderful. The beds are comfy and close enough to town and the trails we wanted. there is an empty lot right behind the house which made it feel not so closed in by the neighboring homes. Everythng was great. Make sure to bring your own coffee and condiments ;). Will definitely stay again
