Sunset House Pool Jacuzzi and Pet Friendly

Nice house and a quiet neighborhood on the north side of Palm Springs. Rooms were decent size, great master bath, and the backyard was well landscaped. Overall a nice house and a good value. Kevin took great care of us when we checked in. Our biggest complaint was that beginning at 6:30 am the flights from PSP were directly overhead and very loud. Hard to sleep in the morning as a result.

My party (adult son, teen daughter and my partner as well as our two dogs) all had a great time. The place was immaculate and well equipped with great bath and pool towels, bed linens and kitchen supplies. The beds were amazingly comfortable. We enjoyed our time at the pool and spa, the view from the backyard, the grounds, the neighborhood (quiet and safe). Great stay and Joshua was always very responsive and attentive. Look forward to coming back. 10/10 all around.

Accomodations were larger than it looked in the picture. We booked last minute so the rate was more favorable. Pretty good kitchen. Lots of appliances. Nice bathrooms with lots of personal care products. Jacuzzi was nice as was the fireplace.
instructions on check in and usage of amenities was not great but Joshua was extremely responsive.
very nice stay (but you definitely need a car).

This was an amazing place to stay. Everything was easy and spectacularly clean. Bed was super comfortable. Loved the view of the mountains from the jacuzzi. We will definitely be back!

Excellent location. Beautiful complex. Well stocked kitchen. Great internet and tv services (once we figured it out). Laundry facilities were excellent. Backyard was beautiful. A lovely property! Pool was freezing and way to expensive to heat (added-on cost). Carpets were dirty. Otherwise, the property was excellent.

Incredible! A absolutely surfing place that is well worth the cost. We couldn’t be happier with this stunning home! Absolutely a five-star experience. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Palm Springs. A quick drive to Joshua Tree and Indian Canyon. Wow.

We had a great time at Joshua’s place. It was just me, my husband and my dog wanting a pool-filled, peaceful mini vacay which is what we got. And we were close enough to town that we could go grab a bite and cocktails. Beds were super comfy, great kitchen, loved it. Great stay!!

Great place to stay while in Palm Springs. !0 minute drive/ride from downtown and everything you'd need. Very private from the moment you enter the community then into your home and pool. We rented for a relaxing birthday weekend and had such a great time just being by the pool with a great view of the mountains. Highly recommend for any occasion/getaway you're looking for.

Fantastic stay! The house had GREAT amenities. My favorites being the comfy beds, the grill right next to the kitchen, the easy to use steam shower and garage access to protect my car from the heat.
Also, this location is so close to downtown with shops and restaurants galore! As well as the airport, a 10 minute drive. Less then a mile from Toucans, I recommend the Sunday night show!

Joshua's Place was perfect for our family of 4, with space to spare. I downloaded the DACK app which made check-in smooth, and it had so much helpful info in the app re late/early checkout, dining recommendations and nearby activities. The house was large and open. Very clean, great amenities. The steam shower was luxurious. House was stocked with all essentials and comforts of home. Downtown Palm Springs was about a 5 minute drive from the home, as well as the Aerial Tram and Tahquitz Canyon hiking. A variety of grocery stores were all near by. Would stay at Joshua's Place again.

We genuinely enjoyed our stay! The house was recently updated and very spacious for our family of four. Checking in and out was well-explained and a smooth process. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the pool and taking in the beautiful scenery of Palm Springs. There was one issue with the bathroom sink, but it was not a big deal and I’m sure that was taken care of upon our checking out. The neighborhood was peaceful, the property was safe and clean and the price point was amazing. We would definitely stay again!

We LOVED the place, and enjoyed our stay very much The home is so very well equipped with everything you would ever need The only minor problem was that the cold water faucet in the back bedroom bathroom was loose and just turned around, so no cold water.. Valve just needs to be tightened. No big deal. Use of the garage was especially useful. We would stay here again! Highly recommended! - Jim and Mary Kay

The Location and facilities were perfect. 3 bedrooms, lots of outdoor space, lovely pool and hot tub. Great layout and thoughtful amenities- guest book, coffee, high quality toiletries , pool towels, games.We loved it and will definitely stay again if we ever find ourselves in need of an escape.

We liked the privacy of the place and esp. the backyard - with access from the master bedroom and the bathroom.The beds were ver comfortable. We also loved the products in the bathroom (Avalon Organics) which gave us this spa like feeling. The pool was nice and the hot tub heats up fast and gets nicely hot. Everything was very clean! We definitely want to come back! It was hard to figure out how one of the showers worked as one of the armatures to turn on the water was oddly positioned outside of the shower and it was not clear how to turn on the warm water. So we just used the second shower in the bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay at Joshua’s Airbnb! We absolutely loved the outdoor pool area, the surroundings were beautiful and the salt water pool with built in jacuzzi is a huge plus. The house was well equipped with comfy beds and the steam shower in the master bedroom was luxurious. Beautiful home equipped with everything anyone could need and then some! Very comfortable bed and linens, including towels. Our pups loved being able to go outside in the back without restriction. Living room furniture not particularly comfortable.

This is a beautiful place, and the yard with the private pool and hot tub is just amazing ! We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The place is very clean and welcoming. We loved sitting outside on the lounge chairs and enjoying the views of the mountains. The host is very responsive and answers any questions quickly. All in all a great place and we will definitely be back!

We had a great stay here with two adults and 2 small kids. The home is well stocked and immaculately clean. We especially appreciated not having to pack our highchair and pack and play as they were provided. We enjoyed the close proximity to downtown Palm Springs, parks and activities. The backyard/pool area is also quiet and peaceful.
One word of advice: download the DACK app as indicated by the host prior to check-in. I didn’t do this, and had issues with check-in (my own fault). You can also use the app to control the thermostat etc which is quite handy.
One minor annoyance is that you really can’t check-in early without paying a fee. We arrived 10 min early and had to wait for our door code to be active. Not a huge deal, but anyone with kids knows that they’re impatient little tyrants. (I did not ask to be let in early- and it’s very possible they would have let us).
All of that to say, I do recommend staying here. The host is responsive and helpful, and the home is beautiful.

Everything was more than we expected. The place looked exactly like the picture, very clean, and everything we need were there. Pools were pretty warm and super clean. We had some troubles, but wasn't any issue. The staff solved it as soon as possible, made us feel comfortable, asked if we needed anything always there for us. It was one of the BEST PLACE we stay since we used booking.com!! Won't regret! Really cozy and nice. Recommend for people who really want to rest. Because the neighborhoods are really quite, so best place to sleep in peace. Nothing.

Overall Joshua’s house was lovely. The furniture was all brand new, nice and comfortable. The beds were wonderful and the kitchens appliances and amenities were fabulous. Very nice quality items within the house. You could tell we were the first guests in this house, therefore there were a few missing things that I’m sure he will take care of right away based upon his eagerness to please and hospitality. Once these few things are added to the house it will be a fabulous place to stay and I’d highly recommend especially based off of the quality of what he offers. We had some hiccups with the pool/spa but Joshua was apologetic and kind about it. Def recommend!
