The good: The interior is reasonably maintained, decently stocked, and is cute. They offered additional days at a discount which we appreciated. Communication was mixed. The bad: I booked this house b/c it had a hot tub. Prior to booking, I reached out and explained importance of the hot tub. Got confirmation that it was in good working order and would be available. [Having a hot tub available eases the difficulty of routine change for my neurodivergent son.] On arrival hot tub was half empty, had sand in it, smelled terrible, and the cover was slimy with pink and green mold. Submitted a work ticket Friday, emailed Saturday at 6:30, 9:15, and at 10:30 a 3rd time begging them to respond, which they finally did. A pool tech came and did the long-deferred maintenance but once clean, the water never got hot enough for use. I spent the wkend comforting my son. It really spoiled our time. Also, wifi info was outdated in house book making it unusable for the 1st day.

Perfect spot for hopping around MV, JT, YV etc. Relaxing and quiet space. Fully stocked. Comfy beds. Only wish there was a kettle and more curtains in the main bedroom. Everything was spotless when we arrived. Clear instructions and communicative hosts. Hot tub was great! Thanks a bunch

Our family of six recently stayed at The Juniper House during a challenging time - my grandfather's funeral. Joshua, the host, and the Airbnb itself made our stay surprisingly comforting.
Before we even arrived, Joshua reached out to let us know about additional services like a private chef or cabana boys for an extra charge. While we didn't take advantage of these options, it set the tone for the host's commitment to making our stay special.
The house was clean and well-equipped. We were able to cook meals together using the kitchen supplies provided. The slight hill location provided a beautiful view, and both the front and backyard offered cozy spots for reflection with a cup of coffee.
This house is on a dirt road – stick to Juniper, not Hess, for an easy arrival.
As for Joshua himself, he was great. Responsive and accommodating, he made extending our stay and arranging a late check-out a breeze.
In summary, The Juniper House and Joshua made a difficult trip more bearable.

Joshua’s place was great! The only thing that surprised us a bit is the road it is on is really rough if you take it from the wrong direction (which of course our gps led us to). Once we figured out to loop around and come from the other side though things were great! The place was super clean. It had all the needed items (cookware, toiletries, extra pillows, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the place feels spacious. We would happily visit again!

Great place to relax and unwind for a few days to recharge the batteries. We loved the fenced yard both front and back so our dog can be free. The front yard has lots cactus so be aware. The place was quiet and the house very spacious! The garage was converted to a living room area and I loved it. It was like a man cave that had its own shower and toilet. The place had everything we needed from drip coffee (not Keurig) to hot tub and everything else in between . We loved the full size refrigerator and there was also a chest freezer!! All in all it was a pleasant experience staying at the Juniper house and we will definitely be back! However, the cleaning fee was a little too rich for my blood but what can you do. It is what it is.

loved this charming place for a week to spend time with family in the area. plenty of space, clean and a funky-fun vibe. we like cooking in, so it was great for us. the road in was a little difficult to navigate in the dark. enter in off Juniper St for best results.
